The Greek Gods

This is a series of figure drawing/paintings that I did several years ago to learn to render the figure in color better. I had lots of experience with charcoal and mono chromatic drawings from figure classes and sessions. So this was an experience in taking the drawing and translating it into a color version. I chose to depict the Greek deities, because the are classically depicted nude or semi nude. Thanks to everyone who posed for this project.
It's been several years, so now I look at these and see obvious flaws in anatomy and shading etc, but it was a extremely beneficial exercise none the less.
